Water damage is one of the most common problems that people experience in their homes. Water may come in from heavy rains through a leak in your roof, from appliance failures,
such as washing machines, dishwashers or ice makers, or from major fire extinguishing efforts.
And, most important to note, the longer the water sits over time, the worse the damage becomes.
Immediately addressing water problems can often save hundreds of dollars in damage repair costs.
Mold and mildew are naturally occurring and are everywhere in our environment. When the amount of mold in our homes exceeds what is normal, we tend to take notice. Regardless of its health effects, none of us want excessive mold in our homes. Mold needs moisture to grow, and if you’ve discovered a mold problem, the first step is to find the moisture source. Routine homeowner maintenance is crucial to avoiding the buildup of moisture in your home. Proper ventilation and insulation are key components of preventing moisture buildup and mold growth.
Paul Davis Restoration of the Inland Empire is continually searching for new products and technologies to improve the processes and services available. Water Out®, MycoDyne™ & Phoenix® equipment are improving results
Water Out® is a patented drying system that produces very warm dry air. The air is circulated through the wet structure creating a continual exchange of the air inside the structure. Humidity is immediately lowered and air born contaminants are released into the outdoor environment.
The Water Out® system has many advantages over conventional dehumidification. We can dry structures with very limited access and materials that are solid and dense. Below are some of the uses for the Water Out® system:
· Dry Inaccessible crawl spaces where fans and dehumidifiers won't fit.
· Dry Long horizontal spaces above drywall and acoustical ceilings
· Dry Wood framing in new construction homes to prevent mold.
· Available for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
